Catching up with the episodes and episode art after my visit to EFNW!

Pretty awesome episode once again, and I guess they were catching up with music haha. Makes up for the low amount of songs in previous episodes I'd say. Also, Applejack singing always good. I'm totally not biased!!!
The others were good too, though. I liked all the different atmospheres to them. Even though the overall concept has been done before, I always like how they add their own stuff and twist to it, making it interesting in its own ways.

Making this piece was slightly painful, though. I started it merely hours after returning home from a long flight and long trip to Seattle for EFNW. So I struggled quite a bit, and even got to the point where I had thoughts about just cancelling it all together (even just the entire art for this particular episode, which I wanted to get done before the next!)
So I apologize if it does look a bit rushed, or rougher than usual. At points it felt like I was salvaging whatever I had already put down and tried to make it presentable. Hoping the initial composition was good enough to carry me through. I think that's why making a good start and foundation for your piece can be very important.

Doesn't help this piece involved some elements I'm not particularly strong at, the lights, contrast and smoke/clouds effects. Which had me stumbling through the methods and process choices I had to make. Greyscale, no greyscale, direct colour, shading style, brushes, etc.

Anyhow, hope y'all enjoyed the episode, and my late little piece for it!
The next one should be back to usual!
