Detailed Applejack project again! Probably my most time consuming Applejack so far with more than 30 hours in it.
Totally worth it for Applejack. I was lacking Apple Hours.
Wanted to do a higher detail piece again, thought I'd combine it with clothing design as well. No real specific time period in mind, except for Applejack time perhaps
Several detail passes later, here's the result.
figured out a new head shape as well, one that I think fits anthro a bit. Didn't want to go with one of my other styles, not that I don't have enough other ones already lol... but ok.
Was still quite a bit of figuring things out though, but I hope y'all like it!
All those little details though, my usual approach takes quite some time to clean em all up and even then they're still mighty rough.
The designing part is fun though, execution I guess still kinda as well.
Made a clickthrough WIP SWF file, still have the usual WIP as well. With a lot more frames than usual.
Now imagine getting into or out of this clothing.

Vision Originality Technique
ImpactOverall this piece is very well done. The details you achieved create a huge impact and
make you look all over at each corner. The hair is amazing, it looks like you painted each strand, the hair ties are also super. The chest piece almost looks like armor, like she's one of Twilights new guards in some mlp spin off story. Did you have an idea in you head before you started this or did it just happen as you went? One critique I have is that the leg to the left of the picture looks a bit derpy if you get where I'm coming from.
